The composer writes: Concerning tuning, these pieces were composed in modern equal temperament. Other "well tempered" tuning systems designed for use in various keys should also produce good results. Also, these pieces were written for a single-manual instrument, without stops. However, it is possible that effects achievable on a two-manual instrument would be an artistically worthy addition to this music.
